Owner, Cliff Allbutt, comes from a long family history in the Mining and Drilling Industry. His Grandfather, Rod McIsaac, founder of Midwest Diamond Drilling in Flin Flon, MB, which grew to be an international company and was later bought by Major Drilling Corp.

Cliff, followed his family’s steps and started working for the family business, drilling for Midwest in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and the North West Territories. He also drilled for D.W. Coats in British Columbia and the Yukon. He returned to the Industry in 1996 and opened Allbutt Mining Supplies.

Allbutt Mining, supplies the Diamond Drilling Industry with a full line of diamond bits, in-hole tooling, in all sizes, for all your drilling needs as well as the full line of AMC drilling fluids.

For Exploration, Allbutt Mining Supplies has developed a custom line of core cutting blades, Billy Boy and Tuffy, which provide a fast and clean cut with long lasting performance. Over the years, Allbutt Mining Supplies, has also grown to include the Construction and Quarry industries.

On the Mining side, Allbutt Mining Supplies, is a distributor for PHQ Global, and supplies the 250 Jackleg & Stoper drills and Screen Pushers along with the replacement parts as well as wide range of percussion bits and drill steel.

Allbutt Mining also specializes in O.E.M. and after-market suppliers of hammers, drifters for VL140, PR123, 1838, 1238 Atlas Copco, L550 Tamrock, 36IR Ingersoll-Rand YH65 YH70, HCR1200 HCR1000 Furukawa, HC109 HC110 Montabert, Air Trac Drills. Hammers, Pneumatic Drifters and Hydraulic Drifters.
