As the founder of InnScience, I am driven by a profound passion for revolutionizing the research and development (R&D) sector through state-of-the-art collaboration technology. Drawing from extensive experience in e-commerce, ERP, CRM, B2B sales, and logistics, I bring a distinctive skill set to InnScience, empowering me to propel its growth and success.


Beyond my role at InnScience, I founded Equipamiento Cientifico in 2011, a reputable lab equipment supplier based in Peru. This endeavor has provided me with invaluable insights into the paramount importance of delivering top-notch products and services to customers—a principle I am dedicated to upholding at InnScience.


I am continuously eager to engage with like-minded individuals who share my zeal for innovation and identify business prospects within natural resources-based industries. Let's connect and embark on discussions regarding the future of R&D collaboration!

 

Dr. Said Baadel  

Chief Technology Officer


Dr. Said brings an extensive wealth of experience from working in various roles for industry leaders in Canada such as Deloitte, Irving Oil Ltd., McCain Foods among others. Currently, he is a Partner and Director of Consulting Services at Afropavo Analytics and serves as the Director of Research & Development at Tausi Africa. Tausi Africa is a fintech company that leverages AI with alternative data to provide credit scoring and micro-financing solutions for disenfranchised African communities without traditional banking credit histories. 


Additionally, Dr. Said is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing, with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is an IBM certified instructor for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence certificate courses and has taught at several colleges and universities in Dubai, London, Toronto, and Vancouver at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His courses include Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Business Analytics, Digital Transformations, Management of Information Systems, and Database Systems. His research interests focus on Machine Learning, Educational Technology, and Innovative Delivery Models. 


Dr. Said is passionate about leveraging his extensive educational background and professional experience in both industry and academia to develop sustainable digital solutions that incorporate AI/ML. These solutions are designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs, accelerating progress and innovation.

Anita Rossall, P.Eng. 

Director/Mentor/Advisor


Anita is a staunch advocate for science and engineering, boasting over 30 years of diverse experience in business, energy, consulting, and over 50 years of involvement in not-for-profit endeavors, both as a volunteer and a board executive. Currently serving as the chair of Movement51, a national not-for-profit headquartered in Calgary, Anita spearheads efforts to democratize early-stage investing for women and non-binary individuals through education and networking opportunities.


Additionally, Anita dedicates her time to the LPAC for an early-stage investment fund focusing on companies founded or co-founded by women. Her unwavering commitment to advancing science literacy, leadership, and mentorship has earned her widespread recognition among her peers.


In her leisure moments, Anita finds solace in outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing, exploring destinations both near and far.
