Dr. Thayyaba Khatoon Mohammed holds a Ph.D. from JNTU Hyderabad, M.Tech. from JNTU Hyderabad, and B.Tech. from Kakatiya University, Warangal. With over 20 years of experience in teaching Computer Science and Engineering, she specializes in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, Cloud Computing, and Cyber Security.

Dr. Khatoon has published more than 45 research papers in international journals and has been granted three patents. She has also made significant contributions to the academic community by serving as a reviewer for various Scopus-indexed and Science Citation Indexed journals.

Her expertise extends to organizing symposiums, workshops, faculty development programs, and conferences both nationally and internationally. She has held administrative roles for 14 years, including serving as Head of the Department and Chairman of the Board of Studies in an autonomous Engineering College. Additionally, Dr. Khatoon has vast experience in the accreditation processes of NBA, NAAC, JNTUH, AICTE, and UGC. She has received research funds from DRDO and DST for organizing conferences and advancing research initiatives.

Dr. Khatoon is known for her pioneering work in machine learning applications in diverse fields, including medical image analysis, cancer classification, and brain computer interfaces.
