To provide an inorganic mold capable of performing regeneration treatment together with casting sand using a cold box, a shell mold and an organic binder including furan, and a method for molding a core.SOLUTION: An inorganic mold is obtained in such a manner that casting sand comprising SiO2 of 70% or more as a composition is blended with sodium silicate or potassium silicate as an inorganic binder in the range of 3.0 to 15.0% to the casting sand, liquid paraffin is blended as an additive by 0.1 to 5.0% to the casting sand, fired kaolin as the anhydride of kaolin is blended by 3.0 to 10.0% to the casting sand, mixing is performed, thereafter the mixture is filled into a mold for molding and curing is performed, and a method for molding a core is provided.
