The inorganic precoated sand according to the present invention has a refractory aggregate and an inorganic binder layer formed on the surface of the refractory aggregate, the inorganic binder contains at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium silicate and sodium metasilicate, the inorganic binder layer contains a calcium compound, and the Ca content in the inorganic binder layer is 3% by mass or more and 45% by mass or less.
