Ayan Sadhu is an Associate Professor at Western University, specializing in structural health monitoring and modern sensing technology. With a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo and a background from IIT Kanpur and Jadavpur University, Dr. Sadhu focuses on practical challenges in structural condition assessment, damage detection, vibration control, and Artificial Intelligence. His research combines theoretical and experimental approaches, and the proposed algorithms have been applied in full-scale structures across North America and Europe. Dr. Sadhu received the Early Researcher Award in 2021 from the Ministry of Ontario and holds grants from NSERC, CFI-JELF, Mitacs, and industry partners.
